Port City Racecars Ontario
Port City Racecars was founded in 1981 by Harley Boeve in Muskegon, Michigan, and quickly became one of the most respected builders of asphalt short-track chassis in North America. Known for precision craftsmanship, innovative design, and strong customer support, Port City earned a reputation for building race-winning cars in divisions like Super Late Models and Pro Late Models. Over the years, countless championship teams have relied on Port City’s proven balance and adjustability to stay competitive on tracks across the U.S.
In 2018, ownership passed to Gary Crooks, who relocated operations to Mooresville, North Carolina, expanding Port City’s reach into the heart of “Race City USA.” Then in February 2025, the company was acquired by Terry Jones, a Canadian racer and entrepreneur, with the goal of strengthening its manufacturing and expanding internationally. Later that year, Port City acquired Wight Motorsports (WMI), re-establishing a strong Canadian presence and uniting two trusted names in short-track racing. Today, Port City Racecars continues to deliver high-quality chassis, engineering expertise, and setup support to race teams across North America.

Port City Racecars Ontario Chassis and cars can be found through out North America, some chassis we have built include NASCAR Canada Series, Super Late Model, Pro Late Model & Super Stock. Port City Racecars Ontario Also offers repair and fabrication for virtually any race vehicle as well as wide selection of performance parts and accessories.

Port City Racecars Ontario is located at 24 Laing Blvd. in the beautiful town of St. Thomas, Ontario. Conveniently located just 15 minutes west of the 401, making our shop easily accessible.
